Tbilisi is not a modern European city
Yesterday was International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia apparently.
To mark it the first ever Gay Pride parade took place in Tbilisi.
It wasn't much of an event - there were about twenty paraders.
And some objectors.
A scuffle broke out and the police arrested the scufflers - just enough occurred for the BBC to have a little sniffy.
But apart from that International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia went just about unremarked and uncelebrated.
